Hymn Description: “I’m going out to see my Father’s world.” This hymn teaches God’s purpose in Creation and His sovereignty. As God created the world and all that is in it, He is the reason everything exists and people can find purpose, comfort, and hope in these truths. This well-known and loved hymn is paired with watercolor illustrations by Penn Tomassetti, local Lancaster County artist in Pennsylvania. Each of the three verses of This Is My Father’s World is complemented with a beautiful, original painting. The teaching  lends itself well to themes such as Father’s Day, Creation studies, the book of Genesis, and even God’s sovereignty as seen in Revelation.
